由一宗奇案发生在连接瑞典和丹麦的大桥上，一具女尸横在国线，上半身在瑞典，下半身在丹麦，这还不离奇，离奇的是，警察搬动尸体突然惊呼一声，尸体竟断成两节，遭被拦腰斩断，但上衣裙子却保持一致，没有血迹，这还不诡异，诡异的是，法医鉴定后，他们发现上半身死亡时间约为八小时，但下半身却有冻伤，法医认为它至少被冷藏了一年之久，也就是说，穿着同一件衣服的上下半身根本不是同一个女人，经过检验，尸体的主人分别确认，上半身来自一名强悍的瑞典女政治家，下半身则出自一名堕落的丹麦妓女，两个国家，两种身份，警方没有头绪，凶手却在继续作案了，这一次是一个记者，他照常下班回家，关上车门后，车后响起嘀嗒嘀嗒的催促声，有炸弹，他报警，拆弹部队很快赶到，记者大喊求救，他们破开车窗引入电线，记者急得要命，这时调查此案的女警察直接打电话给记者，她是个没什么同情心的女人，不是来安抚他的，只是想趁他被炸死前套出点案情线索，记者太慌了，更不用说，时间一下就跳过了一分钟，拆弹部队抽回手，对视一下，纷纷撤退，最后只是对记者竖起手来表示遗憾，这里没有英雄，记者又喊又哭，已经崩溃，在电话里，女警察说，放心，不疼的，一秒就过去了，记者也只能平静下来，颤抖着告诉他，他得罪过很多人，刚说完，时间到，炸弹没响，音响弹出一张CD，原来这只是场整蛊，警察们拿到CD听，一把磁性典雅的男中音，我已经引起你们的注意，让我们一起解决问题，让世界变得更美好，警察们调查记者，但记者啥都不知道，与此同时，电台节目里出现了杀人犯的访谈，他说，他想表达五句话，第一句是法律面前不是人平等的，的确，他在13个月前杀死了那名妓女，但警方调查两周无果，就放弃了，如今他杀死了这位政客，却被当做头等大事来调查，凶手开了个网站给人们跟进。警方跟踪服务器发现，网站源头是在某某警局，警局说是我们服务器被黑了，凶手竟然还是个黑客高手，更可怕的是，有一个话剧演员来报警，他说，你们接到的光盘里的那段录音是我录的，而他录制的时间是三年半前，也就是说凶手筹备这场大案至少有三年半。不久，记者接到电话，是凶手本人，凶手开始给他提供社会数据，让他报道都是犯罪统计，似乎是想引起什么社会反思，另一边，女警察从女生身上发现一个印迹，通过他定位来一间屠宰场，警察来到屠宰场没有发现凶手，只有女政客的下半身，还有一张纸条，如果你早早注意到，什么意思，这时经常能接到记者的电话，记者说，凶手给他发了封邮件，上面写着就不会有受害者了，这两句话合起来才有了本身的意义，然后邮件里还有凶手收集的流浪汉们的数据，又是什么意思，这时，警方接到通报，发现六个流浪汉中d身亡……
